Brushless Wound Rotor Synchronous Machine Based on a Consequent-Pole Rotor Structure with Better Torque Attributes

چکیده

This paper presents a subharmonic-based brushless wound rotor synchronous machine (BL-WRSM) topology with permanent magnet-assisted (PMA) and consequent-pole (CP) structures to achieve better torque characteristics as compared the conventional WRSM. The proposed topologies use high-efficient subharmonic field excitation technique operation lower volume of magnet (PM) average, starting, maximum, minimum torques ripple. A four-pole, twenty-four-slot (4-pole/24-slot) conventional, PM-assisted (PMA), are developed in JMAG-Designer 20.1 environment carry out two-dimensional finite element analysis (2D-FEA). machines used validate electromagnetic electromechanical performances BL-WRSM attributes.
